About
German Blossom Honey Straight from the Beekeeper
When you enjoy our German blossom honey, we want it to feel like a warm summer’s day. The scent of the summer nectar flow is reflected in its taste, and it sweetens your favourite dishes and drinks the natural way.
Runny Blossom Honey – a Real Taste Experience
This blossom honey has an exceptional, finely aromatic character. It is harvested between June and August, so it captures the full range of aromas of Germany’s summer blossoms.
While the bees collect and process the summer nectar, a whole spectrum of aromas is released at the hive over the course of the day. By evening they have fully unfolded – which makes an evening beside the beehive a very special experience.
The different flavour notes of this honey come from the nectar the plants provide, which carries a large share of each plant’s typical aromas. Depending on the plant species, blossom honey can taste very different – and that is exactly what makes our German blossom honey so distinctive.
We harvest this pure honey ourselves in Germany and also source it from regional, natural sites of our partner beekeepers in Germany.

Storage, Tips, and Shelf Life
Storage, Tips, and Shelf Life
Storage:
Store at room temperature for optimal freshness.
Tips:
If you buy German blossom honey and don’t need it straight away, put it in the freezer (not the fridge) to keep it runny. The cold slows molecular movement down so much that no sugar crystals can form. For example, if you put a runny honey that would normally crystallise after 3 weeks into the freezer and take it out a year later, it will still be liquid. Its composition and quality are preserved. To make crystallised honey runny again, we recommend placing the jar in a water bath at around 40 °C. After a few minutes your honey will be back to its original consistency.
